Due to the mild temperatures in the summer, and the local micro climate, its never too hot, and from centuries ago has been chosen as the summer residence of the Portuguese royalty, nobles and many writers and poets.
With its beautiful monuments, gardens and palaces such as the well known Pena Palace, Monserrate Gardens and the esoteric Quinta da Regaleira, amongst many others that certainly are worth a visit.
Nearby are the beautiful Atlantic beaches of Adraga, Praia Grande and Praia das Maças.

How to get there?
The easiest way is to get a flight to Lisbon (LIS), Portugal, which is around a 45 min drive to the retreat center.
Public buses or trains are an option, but please consider that we can provide private vans to meet your group at the airport and take you comfortably to the chosen venue.
